Financial Expertise. Compassionate Leadership.

  • We are a world class district and we need to give our children world class options in their education. The Spanish Immersion program is one of those important options which sets Eanes apart. Let’s get Futuro right.

  • Continuing the strong history of community building, let's open lines of communication with families, attract and retain the best teaching staff in the state, and move the ball forward on big issues like facilities planning through transparent collaboration and a shared vision for a brighter future.

  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. Every student needs to be set up to excel to the best of their own abilities, whether that’s through Special Education services, a 504 accommodation, GT or AP classes. Let’s lean into best practices and innovative curriculum.

  • We can’t control state recapture but we can continue to be good stewards of taxpayer dollars. Let’s ensure we are stretching our dollars with fiscally sound principles, using the best financial tools at our disposal.

Community Leaders Support Catherine

Jennifer Champagne:

“Catherine’s expertise in managing complex financial situations for a public entity is second to none. At a time when all schools across Texas are facing budget crises due to the legislative funding shortfall, her knowledge and skills will be invaluable to the board and district.

Furthermore, Catherine knows firsthand through her children the need for inclusivity and strong support for special education. She is dedicated to ensuring each student succeeds to their highest potential.”

Introducing Catherine Walker, a powerhouse of experience, heart, and dedication ready to help our district aim higher to deliver on the promise of Eanes ISD.

As a proud parent of three young vibrant children actively involved in Eanes schools, Catherine understands the pulse of our community intimately. She's not just a bystander; she's a champion for every student, especially those with special needs, advocating for their inclusion and success.

But Catherine's commitment doesn't stop there. She's a staunch supporter of the Spanish Immersion program, recognizing the importance of world class academic options and unique educational opportunities for all students.

In her role as Chief Financial & Risk Officer and EVP of CapMetro, Catherine commands an impressive $800M+ budget with finesse, overseeing a large team and multiple departments. Her attention to detail and track record of fiscal management will ensure that every dollar is wisely invested in our children's future.

A graduate of Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, Catherine's academic prowess is matched only by her dedication to personal continuous improvement. She also holds dual undergraduate degrees from Indiana University in Business Economics and Public Policy, and Spanish, and she's a true Renaissance woman with a Six Sigma Black Belt to boot!

Let's build a community where every student thrives, and caring for the health and safety of our children are not just words but guiding principles.

Together, we can create a brighter future for Eanes schools—one filled with opportunity, compassion, and boundless potential.
